Rebecca Pierce
Rebecca Pierce is an Australian artist based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, that magnificent city that played host to the 2000 Olympic Games. Rebecca was one of the artists involved with the Sydney 2000 Olympic Bid creating art used on gifts received by the IOC Delegates.
As inspiration she unashamedly draws on the myriad of colours found in the Australian landscape, its flora and fauna in both a contemporary and abstracted form.
Her drafting skills have been utilised by world-renowned corporations such as Waterford Wedgwood and The Royal Australian Mint Canberra.
The use of Rebecca's graphics are donated to charity organisations such as NAPCAN (National Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect) and Good Beginnings-many of these graphics are extended to affiliate charities in the UK and Europe.
Rebecca's works on canvas are found in private collections on most continents. She currently exhibits in the US, Singapore and Australia.
Rebecca has her new exhibition "bliss" which was currently held at the gallery click here to see the exhibition on line "bliss"
