Hayley Gillespie
Hayley was born in London, in 1972 and has worked as a professional artist since 1989. After leaving England in 1996, she decided to relocate to Australia later that year, inspired by it's colour, culture and lifestyle.
This is clearly evident in her work today, from the stark outlines of the outback, to beach culture and a warm embrace of Australian iconography. Though her background in London makes the odd appearance in some pieces - witness the occasional double-decker bus situated far from home in the outback - it is Hayley's colourful images of her new home's inhabitants that dominate her artwork.
These attractive and evocative original works have enormous potential as a valuable asset, whilst their innovation, charm and skilful execution make them an excellent investment, purely from an aesthetic perspective.
Hayley's works are loved by the young and the young at heart, as they always bring a smile to the viewers face, giving a feeling of fun and happiness.
